TEAM ROSTER Cortney Stafford Photos: Steve Puppe Cortney Stafford, a triple jump specialist, attended Katella High School in Anaheim before graduating from Cal Poly SLO with a degree in Political Science. At Cal Poly, she set the school and Big West Conference record of and was an NCAA Indoor/Outdoor All-America performer in 2005. In 2007, she placed 6th in the USA Indoor Championships. Currently, Cortney is a YMCA Program Enrollment Coordinator. Cortney’s professional goals include creating a community center for inner city youth, getting her masters degree in Sports Management, and becoming an elite level coach. Her athletic goal is to become a U.S. Olympian. Cortney placed 2nd in the Long Jump and 5th in the triple jump at the 2008 USATF National Club Championships.
