TEAM ROSTER Stallone Watson Photos: Steve Puppe Stallone Watson is a 2008 of Polytechnic High School in Sun Valley. In just his 2nd year of track & field competition, he placed 3rd in the 300m Hurdles at the 2008 California State Meet in 37.80. He also made the finals in the 110m Hurdles, placing 8th after running a PR 14.40 in the semi-finals. Earlier this season at the Los Angeles City Schools Championships, Stallone placed 2nd in the 100m dash finals in 10.80 (just 0.01 behind the winner). He also long jumped 23’ 0” (7.01m) in a Sunset League dual meet. “Stallone is a gem of a person and an unpolished gem as a track & field athlete, says VSA Director Skip Stolley. He has outstanding speed, strength and ballistic skills, but is very raw technically. With coaching, we think he will blossom into an outstanding major college prospect.
